I’d caught a glimpse of Onyx Grill on the way in. With its moody lighting, deep wine glasses and the menu of my carnivore dreams, dinner was easily the highlight. We ordered the lamb shoulder to share and I’ve honestly never eaten anything like it - it kicked my dad’s sad Sunday roast to the kerb. Pair that with some rosemary salted hot chips and a generous glass of red and I was one happy girl. If you’re a meat lover, Onyx has to go at the very top of your restaurant bucket list.
